Nerds vs. the Mainstream
TRUTH.
Seriously, a new comic book movie comes out and we whine and complain about how well it isn't adapted, even if it is good (I'm lookin' at you people who didn't like Watchmen) and then we don't even go to it. No wonder there are more Eat Pray Loves, Twlights, and Expendables rather than Scott Pilgrims.
I'm not saying we're completely the problem (I'm looking at you M. Night Shamalamadingdong) but we are partially. MovieBob agrees with me.
Also, mainstream audiences, you suck.
I think I should do more LOLcomics involving horror movies. they take up such less time.

YAY FALL.
I didn't feel like drawing a whole bunch of panels and backgrounds and characters and all that. But doesn't this look like an actual hipster ad? Look cool in your ironic leather jacket while pretend-smoking cigarettes because lung cancer is totally out this year. Hipster apparel.
I would totally make buttloads of pretend money.

telemarketers beware
If only that were a possibility, telemarketers would go extinct.
EDIT: It took me exactly 24 hours to figure out I uploaded the comic with the panels mixed up. Why didn't anyone tell me?! If anyone was wondering why, I've been sketching right to left to reduce smudging, being left handed and all.

Dumgens & Draggins 7:Brand New Mask
Seriously, there are just some items I don't understand. Why would a mask that hides 90% of your face give you more charisma? Wouldn't that just make you less trustworthy? Unless you were really really ugly I guess.
Other pick-up lines:
Girl:You look like you're about to rob a bank.
Guy: Yeah, the bank of your heart!
Girl: You look like a bank robber.
Guy: A sexy bank robber!
I went completely photoshop on this one not because I think it looks better, I just got tired of using flash. And also, I figured out it's a lot eaiser to do shading if I create a layer over the color layer, switch it to multiply, and use a medium gray. Also, flash is best when I have a clear perfect line map fo what I'm doing, photoshop is better for Bsing.
And why was I so tired of using flash you might ask? Because I was busy doing this!
It's the full RPD group! I'm still playing around with color schemes for the costumes and I haven't shaded it or added any fancy background graphics, but I still think it's cool as balls.

The return of Brother Coon
It's the return of Brother Coon! I really want to bring these guys back because I love the style and creepiness, but I'm totally lost as to what the story should be.
Oh and if you're completely lost as to who this is, you should check out these four comics!

Dumgens & Draggins 6: She's Got No ArmorClass
I can understand walking around in your underwear if you're on the starter island and just getting the hang of things, but seriously, if you've already gotten to the main harbor, there's no reason not to wear armor. You're just gonna get dead in the upper to lower body area.
Also, if you have no idea what SecondLife is, it's like this(NSFW), but virtually.
I like how the main characters came out in Flash, but it really helps if I have a solid drawing first, otherwise Photoshop is much easier forBsing coming up with art on the fly. I'm not sure how I feel about being in full color. Thoughts on color vs. Grayscale? or on Flash characters? Or on the comic in general?
Also also, other D&D pick up lines that were considered:
Hey baby, you need an armorcheck?
Hey baby, wanna go on a quest?
Hey baby, is your alignment lawful good or lawful fine?
Is this a +2 scepter in my pocket or am I just happy to see you?
Hey baby, you better roll for initiative 'cause we're about to have a confrontation!
Hey baby, are you proficient in handling two-handed weapons?

sooo fat
But seriously, I need to work out more.
I just got some fancy new grayscale pens for doing storyboards and I thought this would be a good way to try them out. Could use some work.
And for any of my female friends, no that's not you in the comic.

Dumgens & Draggins 5: The Clothing makes the thief
Yay! Finally got Dumgens and Draggins up! And I'l have a new one up by Thursday!
Yeah, there are a myriad of different outfits to choose from(if you have money and/or can find them in the dungeons) all with varying special abilities. Some of them are kinda useful like one that electrocutes enemies that hit you or has a +10 save on acid, but more times than most you'll go back to your standard armor because it will protect you the most and it takes too much time to switch between them.
And sadly, there's no place to try them on. If you want to see how they look, you have to buy them. Which I guess makes sense because you're buying them primarily for the enhancements, but I still wanna look cool killing things.
And if you think I'm creative enough to come up with theserediculous Awesome costumes, you are sadly mistaken:
Also, an Asassin's Creed joke:
EDIT: Totally just remembered to title this post. I'M SO SMART. I needz a secretary.
