Getting my Guitar back part 2

Ugh, I really don't like how this turned out at all. I don't know why my artistic skills suddenly leave me when I go into comic mode. I wanna blame it on the fact that I'm only working on this for less than a day. But it needs to be better.

It's also much easier drawing made up cartoon characters and caricatures of myself instead of cartooning people who may not like them. Blah.

Also, I may have interpreted the situation differently and am completely wrong. But this is my interpretation.

Getting my Guitar back part 1

This is easily the most painful comic I've done. But it's also the most real. I really didn't want to break it up into three parts(even though it does so rather nicely) I didn't want to rush through it and present too much information.

Ugh. If only it were that easy. And yes, that's exactly what it looks like.

And yes, there is a giant conspiracy to have my hair cut too short! God I hate looking like an upright citizen!

penguin and frog

For those of you wondering about my sanity, well you should know better by now. But anyways, I actually was planning the usual boring comic about me doing crap, but it was a bleah idea and I didn't like the designs and after awhile I said fuck it I'm drawing a penguin with a mohawk. SO there.

I think I like this more. This is turning into something tedious that I barely start doing 11 at night instead of something inventive and fun and explorational. Well at least I spelled Penguin right.

That's how I feel sometimes. I really need to focus on one or two things at a time or else I feel overwhelmed. I so wish I had a team of interns.

OH MY GOD THEY'RE HUGE! But really ice-skating was a lot of fun. But dude, huge.

Anyways, they're are a number if things I like about this comic; The having a conversation with myself (which I do more times than most) And the word balloons framing the panels. Yay technique.

ideas?

Sooo yeah. Hate running out of ideas. But it's like when you have a daily journal ad you didn't do anything and you're like, what do I write about? But then you stop writing and don't start up again. And I don't want that to happen here.

This also introduces a character I want to use in other places, the barber. Although, I think here he looks more like a landscaper.

Oh and tomorrow I may or may not have a comic because I may or may not be close to a scanner computer. Now if I were someone who's smart I'd do a comic tomorrow and just upload it sometime on Friday. If.

eternal pencil pouch

I think perhaps this is my laziest comic yet. Sure it looks like alot to the untrained eye, but really I only had to draw 4 different panels then switched out different props and dialogue. AND I forgot to erase the pencil marks. Ugh. But I did practice drawing today! SEEEEE?!



And that's really the whole point of this exercise. I think I should do a real sketch everyday as well as the comic. Or just draw better comics. Which ever comes easier. Tee hee!

Don't ask me why I'm a floating torso and my hands just seemingly detach from my body. It just felt right this time. But I think I really like the style of this one.

Well isn't this epic! The big Friday Night Comic! Not really.

And I know what you're thinking. Yes I play a barbarian with a mohawk and a girl rogue. Be jealous. Actually I just recently combined them into a guy rogue with a Mohawk. Awesome.

Yeah, here's just a splash of what my mind has been for the past couple of days. And a few previews with what I'm planning for the Rocket Powered Dragon website. I thought pencil was best for a collage. And also I was tired. I just did a Birthday card for my dad and I find Cards very draining. Here it is!


I thought it was one of my better ones. Ugh. I don't know why I love making comics but dislike strongly making cards. Maybe it's self inflicted pressure? Who knows. Or cares.

Facebook groups dedicated to menial annoyances are a waste of time. But comics dedicated to them are A-OK!
