I meant for this to come out over Christmas, but it got delayed. And I'm not naming names, but I think she would wish that if she hasn't already. As I said before, I'm fat thin, but I'm skinny fat.
I had a lot of fun with this one. I like Brother Rabbit because he's so easy and fun and creepy to draw. Expect to see more of him.
Thank you Garden State.
I was talking with someone about how my friend Praveed changed his style from fancy well to do man to cowboy, and I thought this was funny.
Finally a new comic! This one took longer than expected. I think I'm back t my regular silly self, though I may do Brother Rabbit Comics every once in awhile. But I have been practicing! I swear! I did a couple of cartoon sketches based off friends from memory which I wasn't able to do half a year ago. Now I just have to work on everything else!
Gah! Finally done with this one. Not that it took a long time, just busy with other things. Hmm, I'm not sure if there will be another strip this week as it is Thanksgiving...
Oh hey! It's still 11:50 so this counts as a Wednesday post! I'm starting to like Brother Rabbit and Acquaintances. It's silly and creepy and sad and funny. Does anyone else like it? Too bad cause they're gonna be here for the rest of November! MWAHAHAHA!
My first daily comic in all it's pencily rough glory. I actually really like it because it had more of a crazy indy slice of life feel rather than a gag a day feel. I should do more like this.
One of the first ones I did with pen. I like how I did the hair and wind, also the joke is pretty simple.
This had a weird surrealist feel since I didn't feel like drawing the full body. Plus it makes me laugh. That's the important thing.
The first appearance of Brother Rabbit! I really like he style I went with and how I started to experiment with panel size and borders.
The first cave0Josh comic. Does anyone miss this guy?
I still think this is hilarious.
Wow, one of my many cop-out comics(I should definitely do a series of those). I like how curvy I drew myself.
One with an epic 12 panel gag. EPIC.
I think this is where my faces started to not suck. Also, there is still a complimentarian party on facebook. Which strangely has 29 members. Awesome.
This is still pretty much my comic process.
One of my first Dumgen & Draggins comics! Man, I kind of miss those. I need to play more D&D though.
These faces and expressions I actually like. Go me.
This looks nice. I should do more stuff like this.
Even though this was fairly recent, I think this is my favorite hero. The costume came out nice, and the pose is just classic.
Finally got to finish the comic I started Friday. This month I wanted to do some comics dedicated to Brother Rabbit(even though the month is half over)! It'll give me a chance to focus more on my storytelling and my backgrounds. Also, I'm going to try out the Monday-Wednesday-Friday comic schedule, so Wednesday is going to be my big 150th comic celebration! Wooo!
I didn't know what to do a comic about and then I saw this commercial.
Ok this is my last hero! Steller Sierra, the space traveler!
I didn't like this one at first, but I started liking it after I colored and shaded it. This is based on my friend Katie, who has an awesome procrastibake blog that you should go check out right now. The Green Quill throws quills and fires arrow pens at dobadders because pens are badass weapons. (oh man I totally just made up dobadders)
Wow, it feels like I haven't done this in a while , but here's another hero...era..villain! Chris Deadhand can slap on any dead part to replace a part on his body, possibly gaining the powers that were in that limb/body part. He works mostly as muscle for the supervillain mob. Here's the Original:
I'm liking these new fonts I picked. I'm leaning towards the second horizontal or the vertical, not really caring too much for the brick pattern. Also wondering if my avatar should have hair or just a baldish head. It would give more possibilities to doodle in the hair...
I never showed you guys the picture to my radio/video program Radiogame Theatre did I? Well here it is! I took a long time with it and I'm actually pretty proud of it, even though it's a buttload of photoshop filters.
Achoo! Feeling under the weather. That's why there's no background on this one. Also, I did it in flash just to see how it would look and how long it would take me. Didn't take that long, but it lost some of its depth and detail and character. I do like how the left hand came out.
Different, right?
Woah! Look at those blatant photoshop effects! Today's hero is Elisia! Based on my friend Elise! She's a powerful witch with mystical powers, and she's a good or bad depending on how she's feeling that day. I'm hoping the tilted head came out ok, I need to do more practice with that. Here's the original:
I should start inking them too.
I told you I'd have another hero up tonight! YOU didn't believe me! I don't care if it is 2 in the morning I'm posting! So there!
